Stefano Ungaro

Biography
Stefano Ungaro is an Adjunct Professor at SAIS Europe, while serving as an Economic and Policy Analyst at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. Currently on leave from Banque de France where he was a Senior Research Economist, he previously taught financial and monetary economics at leading French institutions including Sciences Po Paris, University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and European Business School Paris. His research focuses on banking, economic digitalization, international financial flows, and economic history. He holds a PhD in Economics from Paris School of Economics and a MSc in Economics and Social Science from Bocconi University.
